Oracle Of Ages Storyline

Long ago, the great hero Link was summoned by the Triforce to stop a great evil from consuming the land once more…
Link awoke in a mysterious forest. After wandering around he found his way to a woman in trouble. That woman was Princess Zelda’s servant, Impa, who was searching for a person known as Nayru. After saving her from a hoard of Octorocks, Link and Impa searched and found their way to a mysterious barrier. Impa was unable to go near it but Link removed it with ease. Inside they found Nayru, singing to a group of animals.
A dark aura emanated from Impa as a mysterious shadowy figure rose from her collapsed body. Veran, the Sorceress of Shadows, had used Link’s kindness in order to break the barrier that protected Nayru. The shadow flew into Nayru, consuming her with evil and placing her under Veran’s control.
Nayru was actually the Oracle of Ages and held the ability to control time. With this power in Veran’s hands the flow of time became distorted. She planned to create a land of Shadows by manipulating the past. With that, Link set out to stop this evil from plaguing the land of Labrynna.
